Optica International Festival of Video Art
OPTICA is an International Festival of Video Art created in 2005 by the English Cultural Association Interferencia (Colectivo Interferencia) originating in Gijon (Asturias / Spain).
programming of OPTICA is a panorama of the independent production International video art in the current year, which gives to see work from all countries, both artists as emerging artists.
Since 2005 the Festival OPTICA has expanded its distribution to cities in Spain Madrid (2008), Huarte and Cordoba (2009), Latin America in La Paz and Buenos Aires (2009), and for the first both in its entirety, outside speaking countries, France in Paris (2009).
In 2009, the program OPTICA Paris edition 1, was broadcast from September 24 to 26 Hall of the College of Luis Bunuel Spain (Cité Universitaire Internationale - Paris 14) . (see page 1).
In 2010, the OPTICA Festival returns to Paris for the second edition under the name OPTICA II Festival of Audiovisual November 17 to 20 in different places of the capital: the Café Dune, Galerie Carla Magna, Hotel des Academies et des Arts and the Center Mercoeur (see details page 2).
